John Branson ’65

NYA alumni John Branson is a park historian who is affiliated with Lake Clark National Park and Preserve, a four million acre national park in Port Alsworth, Alaska. He has written brief histories for two different objects he’s nominated to the National Register of Historic Places. One object is a Bristol Bay double-ender wooden fishing boat. His second object is a Dena’ina Athabascan log fish cache. Both are the property of Lake Clark National Park and Preserve. He shares his careful research in the links below.
