Grade 10, student editor

Interests:  field hockey, lacrosse, horseback riding, science, and English

Favorite book:  kind of goofy but, The Lorax by Dr. Seuss.  Also, Their Eyes Were Watching God.

Writing and art are important as they are ways to express yourself, be free, disregard worry, and do whatever comes to you.  They foster creativity.

Writing and art fit into my lives in a few different ways.  Obviously, I write for English class, but I also like to write to relax and take a break from rushing.  Writing helps me breathe.

When I write, I usually just write whatever comes to mind without any preparation.  If it is a formal piece, Mrs. Grant will make me do outlines.  Besides that, I don’t really have a process.
