Due Thursday, May 24. Work on your paper! Read the following from the Facing History and Ourselves page on this webpage. Chapter 7, readings 7 and 14. Chapter 8, readings 1, 2, 5, 10, and 12.

Due Thursday, May 10: Outline due.
Due Tuesday, May 8: Work on your outline. Chapter 6 of FHO, readings 1 – 7.
Due Friday, May 4: Thesis for your paper is due.
Due Thursday, May 3: Chapter 5 of FHO (on this teacher page), readings 2 – 15. One sentence summaries of each are due.
Due Tuesday, May 1: Notecards Due.
Due Friday, April 27: Continue Research. Read Chapter 4 (readings 2 through 20 only) in Facing History and Ourselves. Make a one or two sentence summary of each reading in your notes.
Due Friday, April 20: Have completed reading Chapter 26, sections 1 – 4 of Ellis. Also – you should be working on the research for your paper.
Due Friday, April 13: Quiz on the history of anti-semitism. Complete the reading on the unification of Germany.
Due Thursday, April 12: Finish reading the handout on religious antis-semitism. Using the internet, locate 40 (yes 40) separate incidents of discrimination (physical acts of violence) against the Jews prior to 1900. Cut and paste those (they can be one to two sentence descriptions) into a word document and bring them to class on Thursday.
Due Tuesday, April 10: Read “The Prioress’s Tale”. Be able to retell the story. Underline words used to describe the boy, and the Jews.
Due Friday, April 6: Read “Harrison Bergeron” by Kurt Vonnegut.
Due Thursday, April 5: Complete the packet of readings. What do they teach us, if anything, about identity?
