The NYA Parent’s Association Craft Fair is Saturday, December 3rd from 9 am- 3 pm, and the committee co-chairs, Deb Cutten and Linda Manchester, are looking for volunteers to help out with set up, clean up and day of show assistance. If you are able to help out for ANY of the following times, ESPECIALLY SET UP AND CLEAN UP, that would be very helpful. Even an hour or two would be appreciated , so don’t hesitate to volunteer if you can’t be available for the whole time period. Please reply to Linda by email- linda@thegoodlifemarket.com if you are available. Thanks in advance for your help!
· Friday evening, Dec. 2nd- 5:30 pm – 9 pm, to set up the gym and Safford Hall spaces
· Saturday morning, Dec. 3rd- 6 am – 9 am, to help intake vendors, supervise set up, etc. Any students willing to help vendors unload and move product into their space at this time would also be appreciated. Coffee and donuts will be available!
· Saturday, Dec. 3rd- 9 am-3 pm, to help monitor the hallways, assist vendors and customers
· Saturday, Dec. 3rd – 3 pm-5pm, to clean up the gym and Safford

Now that Halloween is over, it’s time to think about the holidays! Once again, the NYA Parents’ Association is joining forces with Project Graduation by selling Maine-made holiday wreaths and greens and beautiful poinsettias for you to decorate your home, barn, neighbor’s house, automobile or any other spot that needs some Holiday cheer.
It’s simple to order. Just click on the following order forms:

Print the form(s), fill them out, and return to either the Middle School Office or Main Office along with your check, made payable to NYA Parents’ Association (write just one check this year!). Or feel free to mail order form(s) to NYA Parents’ Association/Project Graduation, 148 Main Street, Yarmouth, ME 04096.
Deadline for Orders is Friday, November 11, 2011 – so order today!
Orders will be available for pick-up at 158 Main Street (across from the Admission Office) on:
- Wednesday, November 30 from 2:30 – 6:00 p.m.
- Thursday, December 1 from 7:40 – 9:00 a.m.
- Thursday, December 1 from 2:30 – 6:00 p.m.
- Friday, December 2 from 7:40 – 9:00 a.m.
- Friday, December 2 from 2:30 – 6:00 p.m.

We accomplish this by providing a parent-specific layer of communication, as well as by hosting social and informational events and holding fundraisers that support our grants program. The door is wide open for parents or guardians of NYA students to get involved at any level. You are already a member; please join us!

Wed., Nov. 16, 8 to 9 am- Morning Forum with Mr. Choyt in the Middle School common room. “Divergent Learning” will be discussed.
