
Our art programs emphasize both product and process. We support the personal and artistic growth of all children, and encourage students to explore the world around them as they develop their own style and means of self-expression. We foster a sense of community among our students as we share our work and learn from each other.

ART EXPLORATION
Grades: Rising K – 5th
Session 1: June 18 – June 22, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
Session 5: July 30 – August 3, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
Cost: $250 per session
AFTER CARE AVAILABLE 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, $50 per session
This one week art-centric camp encapsulates a variety of art activities from creation to appreciation. Art experiences include studio time working in printmaking, painting, drawing, sculpture and photography. The studio time is punctuated by trips to local galleries and museums to enjoy the local art scene as well as trips off campus to draw and paint landscapes. Art related games and Andy Goldsworthy inspired environmental installations are part of the program.

ART IN NATURE’S CLASSROOM
Grades: Rising 6th – 8th
Session 4: July 23 – July 27, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Cost: $250
Sometimes, a change of scenery is just what you need to get your creativity flowing. Our gorgeous state of Maine offers endless opportunities to explore the natural world, right here in our own backyard! Inspire your artistic talents when you join us for a fun and relaxing week of visits to the shore, the woods, flower gardens and other interesting spaces. We will learn about the elements of art, experiment with assorted media, and create memorable pieces and experiences. Our time together will culminate with a field trip to Portland Head Lighthouse for some inspiration at one of southern Maine’s most beautiful spots. Blossoming artists, we are looking forward to meeting you!
